The Switzerland-based UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale) is cycling's world governing body.

The race will be officially called the White Spot Delta Road Race.

The Tour de Delta, which has been running since 2001, takes place over three days in July in all three Delta communities. In addition to the road race, it includes two criteriums.

It's part of B.C. Superweek, Canada's biggest cycling series.
