Tsawwassen resident Jane Boyd is one of the co-founders of GenKind24 LIVE, an online event dedicated to kindness and generosity.

The event will feature almost 30 speakers, including author Catherine Ryan Hyde, TED speaker and author Matthew Emerzian and director of the Random Acts of Kindness Foundation Brooke Jones, over more than 24 hours.

“Our speakers all have enormous impact and reach throughout the world, especially when it comes to kindness and generosity,” said Boyd.

She is also listed as a speaker.

Boyd, an entrepreneur, partnered with colleagues in Ireland and the U.S. to bring the virtual event to life.

It will be live-streamed around the globe and anyone who’s pre-registered for GenKind24 LIVE can watch the event and participate in hourly Q & As, notes the event’s website.

It is scheduled to start Wednesday at 5 p.m.
