Ladner Celtic U11 Development Team capped an outstanding season with a decisive victory in the Delta Cup final.

Following an undefeated season, the boys saved their best for last - rolling to a 9-3 victory over North Delta to capture the Group "A" title last Saturday at Holly Park.

Noah Thomas opened the scoring on a beautiful diving header. Other goals followed from Jordan Bach, Sean Weichers and Mathew Burt. North Delta was still within striking distance until Burt took over in the second half to complete his second hat trick of the match.

Huge saves were made by Euan Aitchison and Jackson Lawton who shared the goalkeeping duties. The stops came at a critical time, early in the game, when the outcome could have gone either way.

Coaches Paul Bach, Scott Neaves and Whitfield Crump said it was the boys most complete game of the season with everyone contributing to the win.

The Celtic roster also features: Carter Torok, Liam Chong, Evan Neaves, Jason Crump and Sebastian Ortiz.
