Delta police is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing man.

Police in a media release said Frederick Chester, 68, was last seen Monday at approximately 2 p.m. in the 11000-block of River Road at a bus stop, which is located near the Delta Lodge where he resides.

Police noted he has gone missing on previous occasions. Police asked for assistance in locating him in August and were able to find him.

Chester suffers from depression and dementia, police noted.

He’s described as “Caucasian, 6 ft., 225 lbs. (heavier build); clean shaven with short (buzzed) blonde hair and blue eyes. He does wear prescription glasses.”

Police noted he “was last seen wearing light blue collared shirt with a maroon T-shirt underneath, faded blue jeans and a white baseball cap.”

Police said he is known to frequent local establishments in the Ladner area but also attempts to travel to Mission to visit family.

If anyone knows his whereabouts or locates Chester, police ask they call 604-946-4411 or 911.
