Friday, July 15

North Delta:

- Assault/fare no pay: 7600-block 119A Street - Unknown male was picked up by a taxi at the Scottsdale bus loop. He was transported a short distance and failed to pay when taken to the destination and sprayed the driver with mace. Suspect described as, Caucasian male, short, wearing a white shirt and jeans. Male matching the suspect description was located a short distance from the area. Further investigation required. Value of fare was $6.

- Counter Attack: Delta police initiated their summer Counter Attack Campaign. Police set up check points at different locations within Delta. During the course of the night approximately 600 vehicles were checked, several violation tickets were issued for a variety of motor vehicle violations. However, of the four roadside tests administered, three drivers passed and one refused to provide a sample. Many drivers encountered by the officers passed on positive comments regarding the education and enforcement effort.

Saturday, July 16

North Delta:

- Theft: 7800-block 112th Street - Unknown suspect gained entry to a locker at a recreation facility. Once in the locker the suspect stole a variety of items including, wallet, cash clothes and keys. File still under investigation.

- Possible Shots Fired: Center Street and Sheaves Road - Police responded to a report of possible shots fired. On arrival police conducted a thorough search of the immediate and surrounding areas both by patrol officers and K9 but nothing untoward located.

South Delta:

Sunday, July 17

North Delta:

- Theft from auto: 11000-block 80A Avenue - Unknown suspect(s) gained entry to an unlocked vehicle. Once inside the suspect(s) stole a wallet camera and sunglasses.

- Theft from auto: 8500-block Arpe Crescent - Unknown suspect(s) stole a Trek 500 touring bike from a bike rack on complainant's vehicle. Suspects left behind a Norco bike at the scene.
