It's no secret that women are helping drive the country's economy.

It's estimated that over 1.5 million Canadians are employed by women-owned businesses.

According to the federal government, female entrepreneurs start businesses at a greater rate than their male counterparts and represent the fastest-growing segment in the small business sector.
