After making a song with his brothers than went viral earlier this year, Ladner’s Finn Declan has released his first single on Spotify/Apple Music.
The 11-year-old and his mom Tracey Lynne have teamed up to single the Christmas classic Silent Night. It was back in April when Finn fronted his brothers Toby and Rory in the pandemic-themed song “Stay Home” that would end up with a combined four million views on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
Finn has taken singing lessons with Ladner recording artist and voice teacher Schara since he was five. He was supposed to be playing the part of Dodo Bird in an Alice in Wonderland production last spring and was heartbroken the show was cancelled due to COVID-19 after months of rehearsals and hard work.
“It’s been such a hard year with so many disappointments for everyone. There have been silver linings to it all, though, because we’ve had more time to spend together making music, and now he’s an official Spotify/iTunes artist!” said Tracey. “We homeschool our boys, so music is a big part of our days.”
