It was a golden weekend for Tsawwassen’s Cory Duhaime at the 2015 B.C. Special Olympics Provincial Winter Games at Sun Peaks.

The standout skier dominated the alpine events — capturing gold in the slalom, giant slalom and super giant slalom races.

The Provincial Winter Games also served as a qualifier for the 2016 Special Olympics Canada Winter Games slated for Newfoundland. Duhaime is hoping to be selected to the national event which will determine which athletes Canada will send to the World Winter Games in Austria in 2017.
