Anthony Brito continued his monster season on Wednesday night in Aldergrove as the Delta Ice Hawks remain perfect on the road this season.

The Ice Hawks edged the Kodiaks 2-1 to make it seven straight road victories and improve their over Pacific International Junior Hockey League record to 10-2.

The Ice Hawks trailed 1-0 in the second period when Brito put his team on even terms when he re-directed Matt Dawson's point shot during a power play.

The 20-year-old then added the game winner with a spectacular shorthanded effort at the 3: 25 mark of the third period. It was his 20th goal of the season in just 11 games. He also leads the league in scoring with 29 points.

One night earlier, it was another shorthanded goal that provided the difference in a 3-2 home ice win over the Abbotsford Pilots in a rematch of last year's PIJHL championship series.

Matt Barden broke the deadlock with just 1: 32 remaining on a breakaway. Marc Letourneau and Brito also scored. Scott Lapp made 20 saves.
