The Kirk Holifield Memorial Hockey Game and fundraiser for KidSport is back on!
The fundraiser was postponed last month, but has now been rescheduled for Friday night, Feb. 23 at Planet Ice in Delta (10388 Nordel Ct.).
The game will be at 7 p.m. followed by the fundraiser at 8 p.m.
Holifield died tragically in 2007.
For the past couple of years, family and friends have come together annually to play a game in his honour and hold fundraisers to benefit the Delta KidSport chapter.
The fundraiser has helped raise more than $10,000 for KidSport locally.
KidSport Delta was formed in 2010 after a boost in sport from the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Winter Games and began giving out grants for sport registration fees in 2012.
Money is raised locally thanks to generous partners, sponsors and donors.
