Local lacrosse players helped B.C. strike gold at the Women's Field Lacrosse National Invitational held July 16-17 in Oshawa.
Chalane Morrison, Savannah Phillips and Erik McKenzie were members of the juggernaut provincial squad that capped an unbeaten run with a 10-5 victory over Team Ontario in the championship game. Earlier B.C. posted four straight wins, outscoring its opponents 53-18 in the process.
All three Ladner players will be continuing their field lacrosse careers this fall at Pfeiffer University.
