South Delta Atom #2 Raiders hockey team capped a successful 2011-12 campaign with a perfect five game run in the post-season to capture the playoff banner.
The Raiders relied on solid defence, while the offence was clicking on all cylinders to produce wins over North Delta #1 (4-3), Cloverdale #3 (8-3), Semiahmoo #7 (8-3), North Delta #2 (6-3) and Semiahmoo #1 (10-3).
The South Delta roster includes: goaltender - Harrison Almrud; defencemen - Aydan Benning, Trevor Glennon, Nathan Haverstock, Bennett Stoilen, Dominic Jarecki and forwards - Jackson Mailie, Joshua Bermel, Colin Graham, Dawson Macperson-Ridgewell, Connor McIntosh, Tyler McIntosh, James McNeill, Seith Phillips, Ryan Rundhawa and Ryan West.
The head coach is Mark Bermel. His assistant are Brent Graham, Shaun Ridgewell and Scott Stoilen. The manager is Todd Haverstock.
