The Ladner Red Sox tadpole all-star team capped a successful season in style by capturing the Summer Ball Wrap-Up Tournament in Cloverdale.

The Red Sox rolled to three wins in round-robin play, then squared off with the undefeated Cloverdale Spurs. The boys were up to the task, hitting the ball hard and playing error free baseball to hand the hosts their first loss of the season.

The locals then capped the impressive run with another solid pitching and offensive performance in a win over the Richmond Chuckers. Ladner closed out the game by striking out Richmond's final three batters.

Coach Dave Romaniuk is proud of how well his team has done, not only at this tournament, but all season.

The Ladner roster includes: Tanton McNeill, Scott Allan, Jordan Bach, Josh Berry, Kyle Wegner, Liam Chong, Josh Romaniuk, Derek Hamilton, Cole Warkentin, Noah Thomas, Boston Warkentin and Evan Neaves. Rounding out the coaching staff are Phil McNeill and Scott Neaves.
