A pair of local rep girls soccer team will begin their quests to return to the Provincial "B" Cup Championships next month.

The '97 Ladner Vipers and '98 Tsawwassen Blues will be looking to duplicate last year's successful post-season cup runs that concluded in early July.

The Vipers open Coastal Coastal Cup playdowns April 7 with then they host the Langley Knockouts. The Blues begin cup play the same weekend when the Abbotsford Storm come to Tsawwassen.

Other local sides involved in Coastal "B" Cup girls playdowns include the U14 and U17 Tsawwassen Blues.

Meanwhile, U15 Ladner United continued their Coastal Girls Soccer League "C" cup march with a 1-0 quarter-final win over Vancouver Fusion. Katiana Lee broke the scoreless draw on a late penalty kick.
