Mayor to speak at Delta chamber meeting

Mayor George Harvie will be speaking at the Delta Chamber of Commerce’s annual general meeting next month.

Harvie will be discussing the city’s initiatives to help businesses in Delta, according to the chamber.

The meeting will also include a review of chamber’s audited financial statements, swearing in of the new directors and a message from the incoming chair of the board for 2019-2021.

The meeting is set for Tuesday, April 9 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Beach Grove Golf Club. The cost is $40 for chamber members and $50 for non-members.
