Century Group renews commitment to Delta Health Classic

The Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation is holding its Century Group Delta Health Classic on Thursday, June 13 as the annual golf tournament celebrates its 20 th year in support of the most critical needs of Delta Hospital.

The Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation is holding its Century Group Delta Health Classic on Thursday, June 13 as the annual golf tournament celebrates its 20th year in support of the most critical needs of Delta Hospital.

The goal of this year’s Las Vegas-themed tournament is to complete the funding for a new CT scanner, an essential diagnostic tool at Delta Hospital. So far, through the generosity of the community, $1.4 million of the $1.7 million needed has been raised.

Century Group is the title sponsor of the tournament for the fifth consecutive year and has just announced its renewed commitment for another five years commencing in 2020.

The real estate development and property management company has been supporting the foundation since 1991 and has donated more than $1.8 million towards capital campaigns, including the ER expansion in 2008, the purchase of priority medical equipment and the foundation’s signature events, Moonlight Gala and Delta Health Golf Classic.

“Giving back to the community is a huge part of who we are as a company,” says Century Group president Sean Hodgins. “We are proud of the philanthropic work we do and are proud to support Delta Hospital.”

Not only has Century Group been financially supportive but its staff has volunteered countless hours at the golf tournament to further ensure the event’s success in raising funds for Delta Hospital.
