Orphaned Wildlife Rehabilitation Society has shut down public tours at its 72nd Street facility due to growing concern over coronavirus.
“Due to the growing concern of COVID-19 we are shutting down public tours effective immediately until further notice,” OWL stated via social media yesterday
“As always we are available for bird of prey emergencies 24/7,” OWL added.

In an earlier post OWL noted the dates for its annual open house have been changed. The event is now tentatively set for June 6 and 7.
