As the COVID-19 situation continues Deltassist is wanting to ensure the well-being of our community.
Here is a review of current changes, limitations and cancellations of programs and services:
Access to Deltassist offices
As of March 23 both of Deltassist’s offices are still open but the office doors will be locked during business hours. Our offices can be accessed by the following:
North Delta office – staff can be reached by buzzing us or phoning (604-594-3455) us when you are there.
Ladner office – staff can be reached by phoning (604-946-9526) us when you are there.
In person counselling services
As of March 18 Deltassist is suspending most in person services which includes drop in groups, community visits. We are moving to provide phone service only for the next 2 weeks.
Groups
Deltassist will be providing group services via Zoom and individual services through a confidential online platforms.
Income tax program
Cancelled effective March 19th until April 1st, to be revisited then.
Seniors Light house keeping program (Better at home)
Suspended until further notice.
Seniors drive program (Better at home)
Suspended until further notice.
Seniors phone shopping program
At this time we will not be taking on any new clients for this program. We are reaching out to community partners to assist with shopping for seniors that are not already Deltassist’s clients. If you are a senior and need help please call us and we will see if one of our community partners can help.
Weekly bread program
We will not be distributing bread throughout Delta until further notice.
Weekly produce program
Suspended until further notice.
Deltassist is taking its direction from the B.C. Provincial Medical Health Officer.
Deltassist will provide timely updates to any changes in services delivery.
