Hogarth said on Facebook she picked up the picture at a garage sale in North Delta about 15 years ago.

“The picture is on canvas and has to be close to 100 years old,” Hogarth wrote in a Facebook post, which was shared on the North Delta Community Corner Facebook group.

The woman holding the garage sale was downsizing and moving into a seniors’ residence, Hogarth explained in her post, adding the woman said the picture was of her sister around age 8 and that she was now deceased and did not have contact with her family.

The name L. Humphries is written on the back of the picture.

Anyone with information can reach out to Hogarth via Facebook.
