The Delta police ‘no call too small’ approach has paid off again in the arrest of a suspected high-level car thief.

“Our no call too small approach pays off in so many ways for the community, and not just in unwanted animals occasionally being removed from showers, or rescued from certain vehicular death,” said DPD Chief Neil Dubord on his Facebook page. “Last night (Thursday) one of our officers was checking on a possible concern, and his diligent approach had a great result. He located and arrested a male wanted by multiple police departments. The male had previously made a Top 10 list of wanted car thieves, and had been avoiding capture. As our officer noted – it pays to sweat the small stuff! Well done Const. Jeremy Pearce.”
