Jiffy is one lucky cat

The Delta Community Animal Shelter posted a feel good story about a cat named Jiffy on the weekend.

Jiffy was found hiding under the hood of a customer’s car by the staff at a Jiffy Lube, according to a Facebook post from the shelter. Luckily she didn’t sustain any injuries and is now in a foster home where she is learning how to be a social house kitten.

The shelter notes Jiffy will be available for adoption in the upcoming weeks.

The shelter also noted that with the cold weather here, cats may find a warm engine bay tempting to sleep in.

“Please remember to bang on the hood and check your wheel wells before starting your vehicle. A seemingly warm place to nap can quickly turn deadly,” the shelter advises.
