Ladner Pioneer May Days kicks off today with rides and midway games and continues throughout the weekend.
The festival has stage entertainment, a May Days Market, petting zoo, pony rides, fastball tournament, food trucks, a beer garden and more attractions.
Sunday's parade is set for noon and the crowning of the May Queen and May Pole dance will take place after the procession is finished.
