Tsawwassen got its farmers market back on Saturday in a new location at the Benediction Lutheran Church.
It was one of a dozen events this season with each one featuring the freshest seasonal produce as it becomes available.
The market had been on hiatus since mid-summer last year.
Opening day offered items from three bakeries, the best of Delta produce, fresh fruit from the Okanagan, and a smattering of gourmet food producers, chefs and artisans.
The market also includes live music.
