For the first time ever, $65 million is up for grabs in this Tuesday’s Lotto Max draw, and someone in B.C. could claim the historic prize.
In addition, there are an estimated 10 Maxmillion prizes being offered, making it a total of $75 million in prizes available for tomorrow night’s draw.
In May, Canadians who play the nation’s biggest lottery game saw significant changes with the introduction of a brand-new Tuesday draw, allowing jackpots to grow more quickly than ever. In addition, the main Lotto Max jackpot limit increased to $70 million, a jackpot offering never before seen in Canada.
Tickets for the new Lotto Max remain at $5, and players still have the chance to win Maxmillions prizes when the main jackpot reaches and exceeds $50 million.
British Columbians have claimed over $95 million in Lotto Max prizes so far in 2019, including a $25.9 million jackpot won in Merritt in February.
Lotto Max can be played at all lottery retail locations and online at PlayNow.com, with tickets available until 7:30 p.m. (PDT) on Tuesdays and Fridays.
