The Delta Fire Department will soon be getting three new fire trucks. One truck, featuring a 100-foot aerial platform, will be stationed at Fire Hall No. 3, while a fast rescue vehicle and a 1,500-gallon tender pumper will be stationed at Fire Hall No. 4 at Boundary Bay Airport. The new trucks were factory built to department specifications in Colorado and Nebraska. The trucks took a little over a year to source, design and ship to Delta. More than $3.8 million was spent on the new equipment.
