The South Delta Artists Guild would like to thank all the participants for our wonderful fundraising event, Cause for Paws, Feathers and Fur.
Our grand opening celebration brought in over 300 people from our community to help raise money for OWL and the Delta Community Animal Shelter. Thanks to the United Entertainers who created a fabulous selection of songs to serenade us, making the opening fun and exciting.
With the very generous donations from Vancity, our corporate sponsor, and businesses like Bosley's, the Wild Bird Centre, Sundance Place, the Tsawwassen Town Centre Mall, The Chocolate Bear, Tsawwassen Animal Medical Centre, Pets and Paws, Lisslane Art and Design, and the Dutch Doghouse Bakery, we have raised over $1,800 and the show is not over yet.
Thank you too to our guild members who donated paintings, birdhouses and other treats to the cause. The show continues to May 26 so there is still time to view and bid. The Longhouse Gallery is located next to the South Delta Recreation Centre and open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursdays through Sundays.
