Re: Bishop seeks NDP nod in Delta North, Nov. 2 I find it disturbing that after only 11 months into her first term as a Delta councillor Sylvia Bishop is throwing in the towel to move on to greener pastures as an MLA.
She claims this is something she has considered for quite some time, but five days after Guy Gentner announces he's not seeking re-election Bishop has decided that 11 months is all she owes Delta council.
It seems this short pit stop on council is nothing more that a self-serving effort to generate some name recognition.
Bishop owes the community more than 11 months before she considers forcing an expensive by-election.
