Editor: Re: Enough land in town centre to accommodate housing needs, Community

I have to wholeheartedly agree with Ian Robertson's view. Why doesn't everyone quit bantering back and forth over the Southlands?
Are there only a handful of people that see a perfect opportunity to solve Tsawwassen's so-called housing crisis? Rezone the town centre, put 10 storeys of housing on top of that mall, attract a large variety of funky shops, alter transit to suit the growth and keep the people that live here here. Let's live, shop and play, I say.
I'm sure Sean Hodgins could do quite well for himself by selling the upper floors with panoramic 360degree views.
Leave the Southlands alone. Build a park that is the envy of the whole Lower Mainland; the whole province, for that matter.
Make your money where it makes sense.
