Editor: I have a beef with TransLink, the Corporation of Delta and Ladner Centre, who apparently have never been able to reach what should be an easy agreement to allow the installation of an appropriate bus shelter at the much-used stop in front of the mall.
The municipality tells me there is not enough room on the sidewalk to install this shelter and it does not own the land to the south of the sidewalk; it belongs to Ladner Centre. TransLink says it is a municipal problem, as each municipality installs its own shelters.
Almost directly across the street, at Trenant Park Square, there is a lovely newish bus shelter. It makes Ladner Centre look like the poor sister by comparison.
