Re: Century Group headed for Surrey, Oct. 8 Since Century Group president Sean Hodgins feels it will be so transformative to his company's corporate culture to relocate to rapid transit in Surrey, then perhaps he could take his 950-unit housing development along with him.
After all, one of the reasons Metro Vancouver planners said "no" to this development was that it did not comply with the goals of the Regional Growth Strategy, which is to locate developments in frequent transit areas. A once-anhour bus from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. is hardly frequent.
