Change best represented by electing McDonald

This time around I will be voting in Delta South for a "Change for the Better" but I will not be voting for the NDP.

Somewhat counter-intuitively, in Delta South change would be represented by voting for Liberal candidate Bruce McDonald.

Now that the election campaign is winding down, it is clear the NDP's pious claim that it will make B.C. better one small step at a time is merely a campaign slogan.

Once Adrian Dix was scrutinized more closely it became clear the NDP still stand for tax and spend big government policies that will once again lead to economic stagnation.

Here in Delta South the status quo means four more years of being on the outside, represented by an independent who complains that Delta municipal hall and the Delta Farmers' Institute refuse to accept her offers of assistance.

Simply stated, an independent cannot achieve results, in spite of Vicki Huntington's refuted claims to the contrary.

Finally, we have the B.C. Liberals. McDonald is one of 57 new candidates working to be part of a new, effective team under a new leader, Premier Christy Clark.

For Delta South, being part of that team represents a "Change for the Better."
