Kudos to Coun. Sylvia Bishop for having the foresight to bring forth a motion to address a longstanding issue of great importance to Delta.
There is no doubt a vast number of residents would be very pleased to see Delta own and develop this entire property. Its heritage value provides a unique opportunity to develop it accordingly.
I strongly urge Delta council members to make every effort to purchase the remaining portion of Paterson Park.
This would complete a vital link to our past as well as well as provide for Delta's growing population.
