Our family visits the beaches of Point Roberts at least once a week and we are convinced that the orcas must leave just before we get there!
Although we have seen orcas from the Nanaimo ferry terminal, we have never seen the whales from Lighthouse Park.
June was Orca Month in the state of Washington but we are hoping that we'll still get to see them this summer, when residents of Point Roberts report almost daily sightings.
