Ellyana's Crew would like to send a huge thank you to the businesses of Ladner and Tsawwassen. Many local shops and restaurants contributed silent auction gifts to support Ellyana's Crew's third annual Pub Night held in May. The evening was a huge success, raising over $3,000 for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
We would like to say thank you to the 90-plus guests who came to support our team. We are so grateful for your donations.
Thank you to the Beach Grove Golf Club for its generosity and use of its beautiful facility.
Every dollar raised was donated to JDRF research to help find a cure for those living with diabetes. We hope that one day a cure will be found that would help rid Ellyana of her daily need for insulin.
Ellyana's Crew walked in the Telus Walk to Find a Cure in Abbotsford along with many others whose lives have been affected by this disease. New advances are being made in this field right here in B.C. We have top researchers at UBC and B.C. Children's Hospital working every day on this quest to find a cure.
