Ellyana's Crew and her family would like to extend a very big thank you to the community and to our friends in supporting our quest to find a cure for diabetes.
Ellyana was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes when she was three and this is the fourth year she has participated in the Telus Walk to Cure Diabetes.
Our second annual pub night on May 24 at the Beach Grove Golf Club was a huge success, raising $3,075, all of which will go to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation to help find a cure for diabetes.
We want to especially say thank you to the businesses in Ladner and Tsawwassen that contributed towards the silent auction and to our friends who came out that night. The evening was so much fun and Ellyana was so excited to be there, take part and see everyone.
Mark your calendars for May 25, 2014 for next year's fundraiser.
