Ten years ago Canada supported the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples but has failed to implement it into law.

Now it seems that Justin Trudeau’s Liberals will vote to ignore Canada’s indigenous people by enacting Bill C-262 so that resource extraction can continue on indigenous land without the consent of indigenous people. Shame on the Liberals.

Reconciliation will not advance under our current federal government.
