First it was loss of bus service, now it's backward highway network

Editor: As a resident of Ladner, I am, again, feeling like we have been slighted. First we lost the direct bus route to Vancouver, now we've lost one lane to go north onto Highway 99 through the George Massey Tunnel. It is insane.

The people who planned and decided this should be fired. Why? They have taken Ladner residents backwards.

It's natural with the growth of any community that roads are widened and bridges are built but what did they do? They downgraded a two-lane road to one. This is a travesty.

What used to be a 20-minute drive to work has become twice as long and even longer if there's a stall.

To think we pay taxes for this lack of vision makes my blood boil.
