Foodie Ladner: Sprouted brown rice

I love creating dishes that are not only healthy but satiating.
Brown Rice

I love creating dishes that are not only healthy but satiating. I try and eat organic whenever possible as I find not only are they more delicious and healthy for you but I feel more peace of mind knowing I'm doing the best I can to feed my body foods that will give me energy.

One such dish that provides energy and nutrition is sprouted brown rice mixed with black rice.

I sautéed brussel sprouts, garlic, and ginger in avocado oil. I then added that to the cooked rice and mixed it with sesame oil and organic olive oil.

I added a bit of Braggs liquid soy (you can purchase at Parsley, Sage and Thymne in Ladner). This is so delicious for lunch or a side dish for dinner.

You could tuck in other vegetables if you wish and top with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. I try and add extra protein whenever I can. It's super nutritious.
