Re: Teen's lemonade stand raises $435 for SPCA, Sept. 19
Brendan Barth sat outside our office day after day, selling lemonade to support the SPCA.
We watched him performing this volunteer service and marvelled at his community spirit. Brendan didn't even use the chair we took out for him, choosing instead to stand as he went about his business.
Congratulations, Brendan: it was inspiring to watch you set up your table each morning.
And the lemonade was good, too!
