Editor: I did not realize until I read the article about Southlands public hearing last week that the approval or disapproval of the proposal was coming down to a count of the number of people that spoke either for or against.
If this is how the decision is to be made, I would like
to see all of South Delta have a say by way of a referendum.
I know Delta council is not considering this option and it will make the decision based on the facts and not based on the noise people made at the hearing where only the noisy minority went.
