Delta Optimist polled 425 Optimist readers and asked the question: Are more traffic calming measures/enforcement needed to slow down Delta speeders?

The poll ran from Jan. 9 to 17, 2024. Of the 425 votes, we can determine that 155 are from within the community. The full results are as follows:

YES 65.16% local, 63.06% total
NO 34.84% local, 36.94% total
  Local   Total

Results are based on an online study of adult Optimist readers. The margin of error - which measures sample variability - is +/- 4.71%, 19 times out of 20.
