We had the pleasure of watching the April 16 all-candidates meeting on TV and we were very pleased to learn many important facts from each of the candidates.
However, that pleasure came to a very shocking and distasteful halt when Bruce McDonald decided to end the night with a vicious and, in my opinion, uncalled for attack on the character of Vicki Huntington. Huntington has been very open, available, communicative and hard working throughout.
Contrast this to the experience, and I'm sure I am not the only one to experience it, of trying to communicate with the Delta council and McDonald's invisible witness, Mayor Lois Jackson. For me at least, it cast doubt on anything McDonald had to say all evening.
It would appear to me that a vote for McDonald would be a vote to end any communication with Victoria since he is defending the secrecy and aloofness I believe is practiced by Delta council.
