I have lived in Tsawwassen for over 20 years now and recently I have noticed there are bird guns going off in the fields bordering Tsawwassen.
I live on 14th Avenue and hear them every day in the early mornings and evenings, and they are quite loud. I used to enjoy sitting on my balcony after work and relaxing with a book, but I can no longer do that due to the incessant banging coming from the fields.
I have an anxiety disorder due to an accident in Ladner a few years ago and this constant banging affects that. Also, my pet is now scared to join me on the balcony because of this noise.
What is our town coming to when we can no longer enjoy our simple pleasures?
I hope all residents of Tsawwassen that are bothered by this invasion to our peace and quiet will put a letter of complaint into the mayor's office.
We should not allow this noise disturbance to become a fixture of our future in Tsawwassen.
