It only takes one complaint to get walkway hedge cut

A walkway between River Road and Calvert Drive has a rather tall hedge. Apparently someone walked through the walkway the other day and was "nearly" hit by a car as they came onto Calvert Drive because the hedge was too tall.

We are talking about a quiet, dead end residential street, not exactly a freeway. Where is the common sense of this person to stop and look both ways before stepping out?

This person must know somebody to get such a quick response from municipal hall. Maybe they can help us get the pathway repaired before someone gets hurt due to the cracked and uneven pavement.

I wonder why they failed to complain about the path when they made the "complaint" about the hedge. I mentioned it to the man that came out to tell the neighbours about the hedge having to be trimmed.

I wonder how long this will take to repair as it has been like this for many years. It does, however, get its annual spray painting along its cracks and bumps by the municipality every year.
