Re: Are civic candidates in it for the full term?, letter to the editor, Sept. 24
I applaud Darren Garbutt for his letter of Sept. 24 in which he challenges Delta councillors, current and future, to state their commitment level to the office.
When elected to Delta council this Nov. 15, I absolutely guarantee that I will fulfill my commitments to the citizens of Delta for the entire four-year term. No ifs, ands or buts. Period.
I value the honour and the responsibility that being your councillor means to you.
Electing someone you can trust to respect the office they hold is as important to me as it is to you.
