LETTER: Clark not responsible enough to be Premier

I was shocked to hear our Premier openly admit during [Monday night's] televised debate that she ran a red light on a dare from her son.

I was shocked to hear our Premier openly admit during [Monday night's] televised debate that she ran a red light on a dare from her son.

This was especially upsetting as on this same weekend five members of one family were killed by a driver who 'allegedly' ran a red light in Surrey.

Can we trust Premier Clark to drive our economy? And then we have Mr. Dix who some time ago was fined for fare evasion on our transit system and yet he is promoting better transit as part of his platform.

Whom do we trust? This is a tough question facing voters right now.

Thank goodness residents of South Delta have the option of voting for an independent-- one who has proven herself over the last four years.

Perhaps if several independents plus some Green and/or Conservative candidates are elected, along with a minority government, British Columbians might actually see politicians working together to do what is best for all British Columbians.

That would be a change for the better.
