Letters: A credit to our community

She is a credit to our community as she recycles and keeps our town clean of this debris
Thank you letter

Editor:

There is a kind, gentle woman that lives in the community of Ladner.

If you live here, you may have seen her – usually on any Monday through Friday walking the alleyways with her oversized blue bag as she collects all the discarded recycled cans and bottles. This is her occupation, and she is very good at her profession.

She collects all the recycled cans and bottles, loads her truck, takes this treasure to her home where she organizes the bottles and cans before taking her bounty to the Ladner recycle depot, and receiving her wages for her day’s labor.

She is a credit to our community as she recycles and keeps our town clean of this debris.

If you see her give her a wave, and if you have any recyclables rattling around in your car trunk – she will gladly take that load off your hands.
