According to the motion approved by Vancouver’s council, small gasoline engines found in lawn mowers, leaf blowers and other garden equipment pollute at a higher rate than other equipment and vehicles.

Editor:

I am concerned about the noise from leaf blowers. It is a health issue as it is affecting our hearing and our quality of life.

Leaf blowers should be banned for sure.

The high decibel of 104 is definitely a health factor when living in a condo as everyday there are one or two leaf blowers going, so there is no quiet time to enjoy and or sit outside.
