Re: Business case for Massey Tunnel (Optimist, Dec. 17)

Once again, I am disgusted at the horrific way our politicians can waste time and money at such a phenomenal rate.

Another three-year environmental review? How many is that? How many ‘studies’, ‘reviews’, and other ways to waste money is there going to be? Who is making all this money? Who is making the decisions to spend it?

My thoughts and beliefs about our politicians is once again confirmed . . . they are a bunch of useless money spenders who cannot make decisions, and have no idea how to do their jobs! It is just too easy to throw up their collective hands and declare “we have to have another study!”

They should stick some of these ‘decision makers’ in their cars to commute through the tunnel twice a day, rather than sit in their plush offices looking over ‘studies’.

My advice . . . either make a decision and get on with it . . . or better still for the benefit of all . . . resign and let somebody else take over.
