Re: B.C. prepares to remove some housing approval powers from local governments: minister
Dear Messrs. Horgan and Eby
We will be succinct, as we know that you are both busy people.
This is a horrible idea, one that should be dropped immediately.
It is difficult enough to get our local council to listen to concerns regarding traffic congestion, noise pollution, loss of green space, etc.
We absolutely do not need some faceless bureaucrat in Victoria making decisions that affect our homes and neighbourhood, especially since we will not even have the recourse of the ballot box.
While we realize you regard our riding (Delta) as a lost cause, please consider both our votes and financial support lost if you proceed on this course.
